- Leg removal (grand pianos) — Grand pianos must have their legs removed before moving. We do this carefully, supporting the body throughout, and wrap each leg individually.
- Padded wrapping — The entire instrument is wrapped in professional moving blankets and stretch wrap before it leaves the room. Keys, lid, and finish are all protected.
- Piano board & straps — We use a piano board (a heavy-duty flat dolly designed specifically for pianos) to roll the instrument safely without stressing the legs or frame.
- Truck positioning — The piano goes in the truck last and is secured against the wall with straps to prevent any shifting during transport.
- Climate awareness — Florida humidity is hard on pianos. We minimize time in the heat and recommend tuning after any move to compensate for climate adjustment.
