Any movement — even across a room — can affect tuning. It's not about the quality of the move, it's just the nature of the instrument. We recommend scheduling a piano tuner 2–4 weeks after the move to let the piano settle in its new environment. We're happy to provide a referral.
Yes. We carry stair-climbing dollies and use proper technique for stair moves. We just need to know about the stairs when you book so we bring the right equipment and enough crew members.
